How does TurnoverPilot work?

Add your Airbnb property, paste your iCal feed URL, and assign a cleaner. TurnoverPilot reads your booking calendar and, when a guest checks out, automatically texts the cleaner with the address, gate code, and time to clean by. The cleaner replies DONE when finished. If no DONE arrives before your alert window, you get a missed-confirmation alert by SMS.

What happens if my cleaner doesn't reply DONE?

If the cleaner doesn't reply DONE before your configured alert time, you receive a missed-confirmation alert by SMS. This lets you follow up directly before the next guest arrives. The reminder text itself is sent on turnover day, so you have time to react if something falls through.

Does TurnoverPilot work with VRBO and Booking.com, or only Airbnb?

TurnoverPilot works with any platform that exports an iCal calendar feed, including Airbnb, VRBO, and Booking.com. You add each platform's iCal URL to a property and TurnoverPilot merges the bookings to schedule turnovers. Properties listed across multiple platforms get a single combined turnover view.

Do my cleaners need to download an app?

No. Cleaners receive a standard SMS text on turnover day and reply DONE when finished — no app to install, no signup, no account. You give us the cleaner's name and phone number once and they're set up. They can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

What if I have multiple cleaners or multiple properties?

You can add unlimited cleaners and assign one to each property. The number of properties you can manage depends on your plan tier. Each turnover SMS goes only to the cleaner assigned to that property — no group texts, no confusion.

How do I find my Airbnb iCal URL?

In your Airbnb host dashboard, open the listing, then Calendar → Sync calendars → Export calendar. Copy the .ics URL Airbnb generates and paste it into TurnoverPilot when adding the property. The same flow exists in VRBO and Booking.com under their calendar export sections.

Can cleaners opt out of texts?

Yes — cleaners can text STOP at any time to stop receiving messages from TurnoverPilot, per US TCPA carrier requirements. Only add cleaners who have agreed to receive turnover texts. If a cleaner opts out you'll see this status in your dashboard and can reassign that property to another cleaner.
